Sun Prints at the Farm

Sun Prints at the Farm

Join Green Newton and Newton Community Farm for an afternoon of creativity and discovery!

Kids will create their own one-of-a-kind sun print T-shirt using the power of sunlight, then head out for a guided farm tour and learn how solar energy works. While the kids explore the farm, parents and caregivers are invited to chat with Green Newton’s Energy Advocate about ways to make their homes more energy-efficient, comfortable, and climate-friendly. The event will end with a fun round of solar trivia, and families are welcome to stop by the Newton Community Farm stand on their way out to purchase fresh, seasonal produce.
