Ride & Stride for Food 2026

Farm Manager, Greg Maslowe, Assistant Grower, Katie Goldstein, and Board Member Dan Scheib are among those riding or walking to raise funds for the Farm!

Ride & Stride to End Hunger

Support Newton Community Farm as we pedal & walk with purpose to fight hunger! Across Massachusetts, the need continues to rise, with more individuals and families struggling to access consistent, nourishing food.

For the past 20 years, we have donated at least 10% of the produce we grow each season by making weekly produce donations to local organizations such as the Newton Food Pantry, the Newton Community Freedge, and Boston Area Gleaners. We donate the same top-quality, freshly harvested items that we sell at our farm stand and at the Newton Farmers’ Market.

Our produce donations are funded by contributions from the local community and this event is a key source of that financial support.

Join us in this important effort:

  • Ride or Walk with our team: Newton Community Farm’s team includes staff, board members, volunteers, and friends of the Farm—all united by a shared commitment to ending hunger. Our team includes some on bikes and some on foot, all are welcome!

  • Donate to support our efforts: Our goal is to raise $20,000 to provide fresh, nutritious produce to local agencies serving those in need.

  • Volunteer at the event: Be part of a community-driven effort to make sure no one goes without.

Together, we can grow food and hope for our neighbors.

Use code NCFJUNE by this Friday, July 3 to register for just $25 (full registration fee is $85).
