Ride & Stride to End Hunger

Growing food and hope for our neighbors.

About the Ride & Stride for Food

The Ride and Stride for Food is a fundraising bike ride and walk.

Three Squares New England, one of our nonprofit partners, organizes the Ride & Stride to help local organizations like us raise money. Our shared goal is to ensure all families have consistent access to nourishing, culturally relevant food - three square meals a day.

We donate 10% of the produce we grow at the farm to the Newton Food Pantry and other food access organizations each week. We rely on the funds raised through the Ride & Stride to cover the value of those donations.

Join us

Ride or Walk with Our Team We need your help to reach our goal. Join Newton Community Farm's team of staff, board members, volunteers, and friends of the farm - all united by a shared commitment to ending hunger. Riders and walkers are equally welcome - bring a friend and join us!

Donate Our goal is to raise $30,000 to provide fresh, nutritious produce to local agencies serving those in need. You can make a donation to our team or to an individual team member. Thank you!

Our Commitment to Food Access

For the past 20 years, Newton Community Farm has donated at least 10% of the produce grown each season to families in need. Every week, we deliver fresh food to local organizations including the Newton Food Pantry, the Newton Community Freedge, and Boston Area Gleaners. These aren't seconds - we donate the same top-quality, freshly harvested produce we sell at our own farm stand and at the Newton Farmers' Market.

Together, we can grow food and hope for our neighbors.
