About Zaira Meneses & Son Jarocho
Thanks to the support of SparkNewton, we’re excited to have Newton-based Mexican artist Zaira Meneses & friends from Alma Boston and the Zaira Meneses Art Institute joining us at the farm to perform “Son de la Tierra” (From Veracruz to Newton: Music of the Land). Son Jarocho is a traditional musical expression from Veracruz, Mexico that brings together music, singing, poetry, improvisation, and zapateado (rhythmic footwork).
Parking
The farm is located at 303 Nahanton Street. Please park along Nahanton Street or Winchester Street.
If you need an accessible parking spot, you can park in the farm's parking lot; the entrance is on Nahanton Street (very limited spots are available). Please drive with patience and care as it will be a busy event with lots of cars.
