Join herbalist Mo Katz-Christy for a meander through Newton Community Farm to learn how we can harvest local plants to use as medicine! We will explore weeds and cultivated plants, trees and shrubs, and have lots of space for questions and conversation. Bring a notebook if you like and get ready to nibble and use all our senses to explore our botanical neighbors.

Bio:

Mo Katz-Christy (they/them), an herbalist from Cambridge, MA, approaches herbalism by connecting folks to the knowledge they already have about their body and herbs through working with kitchen medicine, ancestral traditions, and mulberries falling on the sidewalk! Mo graduated from a three-year clinical herbalism program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism in 2022 and works one-on-one with clients to address imbalances and to build long-term healing.
