2026 Seedling Sale

Start your garden with NCF’s home-grown and hardy seedlings. Our seedling sale this year is on Saturday May 16th and Sunday May 17th from 12-3pm. We’ll have almost 100 varieties of vegetable, herb, and flower seedlings for sale, along with Vermont Compost Company potting soil and soil amendments. Our gardening experts will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions.

Volunteering

Our seedling sale is only made possible by our many dedicated volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers to help with writing the labels for our seedlings.

Check back in March or April to sign up for volunteer shifts for the seedling sale weekend. You can also sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about volunteer opportunities.

Parking

Street parking is available on the farm side of Winchester and Nahanton streets.

Pricing

$6 for all 4-packs and 6-packs of herbs and seedlings.

$6 for all 4” pots of perennial herbs.

$5 for larger, single tomato plants and hot peppers started in our greenhouse.

We will have soil and amendments available from the Vermont Compost Company.

Perennial Blend - $39

In an effort to reduce waste, we will be charging $1 for all plastic trays. You are welcome to bring your own boxes or trays for your seedlings.

Payment

We accept cash, check with identification, credit card, SNAP, and HIP. Note that some flower seedlings are not eligible for EBT payment. See our varieties list to learn which seedlings are not eligible for SNAP/HIP.
